What are you Seeking?

Illumine Collaborative

To Illumine, Inspire, & Engage the world in the most beautiful story; one of hope, growth, and the definitive being of our God given purpose.

Illumine.

Whether or not you see life through a Biblical narrative, one cannot deny the darkness (and corresponding need for light) in our broken world.

"I Am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

Inspire.

Any good story has a hero and a villain... and any story worth it's weight should light a fire in our bones to respond.

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that you may have life and have it abundantly."

Engage.

A Director calls his cast to act, not simply observe.

"For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light."

The

Most

Beautiful

Story

The Gospel is this: we are more sinful and flawed in ourselves then we ever dared believe, yet at the same time we are more loved and accepted in Jesus Christ than we ever dared hope.
Timothy Keller

Why Beauty?

King David inscribed the words of Psalm 27.

Almost 3 millennium later in the 17th century, French Mathematician and Physicist Blaise Pascal wrote this:

"In difficult times carry something beautiful in your heart."

Two centuries further the Russian Novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky penned these words:

"Beauty will save the world."

So what is it about beauty that captures us?

One thing I have asked of the LORD,

   that I will seek after:

that I may dwell in the house of the LORD

all the days of my life

To gaze upon the beauty of the LORD

and to inquire in His temple
